After a team is registered for the COINS 3 Peaks Challenge, it can set up an event page to start collecting online donations from friends, family, and business associates. Firstgiving recommends spreading the word about the fundraising page as widely as possible: by email, by posting a link on web sites, and using online social networks like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and LinkedIn.
